There has been a Christadelphian presence in the Ashton area since the end of the 19th century. The present hall on Currier Lane was built in February 1974 when the Bedford street hall was demolished for the present bypass. Numbers dwindled over the years sadly and December 2011 saw the last service. However, in April 2012 the hall was reopened for a Christadelphian youth group for the benefit of Ashton's young people.

Following the success of the youth group the hall was again used for Sunday worship and witness. We began with 11 members but in the last 6 years we have grown to 50+ as a result of baptisms and members from other Christadelphian fellowships deciding to join. We looked afresh at our structure and opted to sit in a circle for our services to do away with any formality, whilst retaining the proper reverence due to our Heavenly Father and the Lord Jesus.
